How to create your character for play

Look at the Packs Seeking Members section to see if your character would fit into any packs. You MAY submit a character without a pack and play them however no Story-arcs can be run for your character without your own Pack Storyteller.

It is recommended to get yourself a pack storyteller as soon as possible.

Guidelines for creating a Character are here.

All Character Submissions for those looking for a pack must be posted on the Forum all of these entries must be submitted as a Cliath.

Any player wishing to have a cub must have a pack Storyteller.

Step One

Character's Real Name:
Deed name:
Rank:
Breed:
Auspice:
Tribe:

The Character's real name should be one they use with humans, feel free to put down N/A if none fits.

Deed name is explained as many things throughout the game. One of them is a massive event or something they achieve. However in Second Edition this is contradicted with Evan Heals the Past by him getting a Deed Name for just being told what he's suppose to do. So I always assume the Deed Name is your Garou Name given to you upon gaining Cliath Rank.

All Player Characters Start at Cliath Rank.

There are Three Breed of Garou or Werewolf, Lupus which means you were born a Wolf and then became a Werewolf. Homid which means you started as Human, and Metis which means you are born as a Werewolf.

Auspices are dictated by the Moon you are Born Under. Here is what I feel they mean.

A tribe is a family the Werewolf is born into or a linage, some Garou join the tribe due to a similar ideology. More about the Tribes can be Read Here.

Tribes you can play are Black Furies, Bone Gnawers, Children of Gaia, Fianna, Get of Fenris, Glass Walkers, Red Talons, Shadow Lords, Silent Striders, Silver Fangs, Uktena, Wendigo, Stargazers

Step Two

Quick Summary of Character:

This should be a quick Summary of your character. Like a Wiki Entry this does not have to have all the details of your background. For example if I say that my Character enjoyed music as a child, and plays the Harp. I don't have to say who taught her to play the harp and what originally inspired her to play that.

One to Two Paragraph please.

Also this is a good part to address likes and dislikes along with personality traits.

Think of it like you are trying to convince the Storyteller your character is awesome before making them. If you character has a Dark Secret then Mention it in the write up, Dark Secrets are one of these things that you must have a Pack Storyteller to play with.

Step Three

Character Goal:

Why Does a Pack Want You?:

Character Goal should be what your character wants to do, do they want to be useful to their pack? Make it to the next rank? Become an honored and remembered hero? Tell us.

Why Does a pack want you is your place to shine and show how you can be useful. Show us what you've got.

Step Four

Submit your sheet to the Wanted Section of the Forum as it's own topic Here

Kinfolk Step One

Name:
Job:
Tribe:
Breed:

Name is what your character is called, weather that be a legal name or a nick name given to you to keep you straight from the other pups.

Job needs to be filled in to tell us what you do. If you are unemployed, homeless, a wolf. Let us know.

The Tribes are the same as the werewolves, unlike werewolf tribes generally kinfolk do not get to pick what tribe they are in. Generally your relatives will dictate what tribe you are in. More about the Tribes can be Read Here.

Tribes you can play are Black Furies, Bone Gnawers, Children of Gaia, Fianna, Get of Fenris, Glass Walkers, Red Talons, Shadow Lords, Silent Striders, Silver Fangs, Uktena, Wendigo, Stargazers. Each treats their kinfolk differently.

The Breeds that the kinfolk can play are Lupus and Homid, either a human related to werewolves or wolves related to werewolves. This is the form that you are in for the rest of the game. Kinfolk do not shift.

Kinfolk Step Two

Quick Summary of Character:

This should be a quick Summary of your character. Like a Wiki Entry this does not have to have all the details of your background. For example if I say that my Character enjoyed music as a child, and plays the Harp. I don't have to say who taught her to play the harp and what originally inspired her to play that.

Five Paragraphs is a good to shoot for.

Kinfolk Step Three

Character Goal:

Let us know what you want to do. Find a good mate, break out on your own, prove you're as good as a Garou. Be the best kin you can be, get a job, etc. Tell us what your character wants to do with their life.
